Colorado Springs Rising Professional of the Year 2016
It is with great honor that I received the "Rising Professional of the Year" award! After all of the long hours and hard work to build a business in Colorado, it is moments like this that are very rewarding and make it all worthwhile. It has been a lot of fun and also a very humbling experience to be involved in this community. Entrepreneurship is not easy. I have learned a lot and continue to learn. I have enjoyed contributing to the RP's organization efforts and look forward to the next year. Thank you and God Bless!
The Wind can cause severe damage to your home...
The wind in Colorado has reached up to 100 mph as of recently. Needless to say, the wind can cause severe damage to your home and can be quite costly!
What kind of damage you ask...?
Wind Blown Shingles...
The wind can potentially peel back and blow off roof shingles leaving your roof deck exposed which will lead to water leaks into the home during wet weather conditions. The longer the underlayment is exposed, the more damage that will be caused to your home and could get extremely expensive. If you are aware of the wind blown shingles, then this problem can be fixed quickly and easily for a minimal fee.
Blown over trees...
The wind can also be strong enough to blow over dead and well rooted trees. Trees too close to your home can cause damage to the roof and structure. It is important to have dead trees and trees that are too close to your home removed, because a fallen tree on your home can be more expensive to remove as well as the repairs that will be needed to your home.

Your Building Consultant for Life,
I really like how Gary Keller from Keller Williams describes what a Professional is and why Entrepreneurs are Successful. Most of all, People Matter.
I found this article "First Time Home Buyer Tips" which I though was very good. The Home buying process can be very stressful and sometimes certain steps get overlooked. Even though it is a lot of work; stay positive and have fun on the hunt for your new home.
A home inspection is an all-encompassing examination of the condition of a home. The home inspection process is often but not always performed at the time of the sale of the home. A home is one of the most important purchases one will ever make. A home inspection is an inexpensive way to discover the universal condition of a home. It is important to conduct a home inspection to avoid a costly mistake by purchasing a property in need of major repairs. Even if you think you have found a “dream home,” it is a home inspector’s responsibility to let you know that your “dream home” may not be just right.
